Feed the horse, fuel the soul
Your gift today means we can help horses in both the short- and long-term as we carefully budget for their needs. Our elderly horses’ most important and ongoing needs are hay/feed, veterinary services and farrier care. Having a good supply of quality hay, alfalfa and equine senior grain and supplements help keep the horses in good weight year-round. Our horses also receive annual dental care which costs $250 to $300 per horse. Having a balanced hoof by expert trimming every other month by our farrier costs $60. Your support helps keep the horses fed, happy and healthy!
